Most Beloved and Renowned author, anthropologist, researcher and historian Dr. Runoko Rashidi passed away on August 2 at the age of 66 while on tour in Egypt, his family announced in a statement. Throughout his career, Rashidi made a case for African civilizations through various initiatives including photographing African artifacts in museums and organizing global tours.
